Another month has passed which means more books have been read! I was able to finished 5 books this month and I’m so proud of myself! I genuinely enjoyed all the books I’ve read in June, so suffice to say, this month was a good month.
Books I Gained:
ARCS:

After reading the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy in 2018, I became a fan of Kevin Kwan. The CRA trilogy was such a fun read that I had to read Sex and Vanity as well. I didn’t enjoy it as much of CRA, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. This ARC was courtesy of Doubleday Books via Netgalley.
Bought some Kindle reads:

I’ve been buying so much more Kindle books lately. I’ve also been trying to read more books by authors I’ve never read from before, mostly POC authors. I read Queen Move by Kennedy Ryan last month and she’s now one of my favorite authors. Mimi Grace is a new author I’ve discovered through bookstagram. Her debut, Along for the Ride, was published last year. The summary sounds like just the summer read I need.
Books I Read:
This month was a good month for reading, but not so much for writing. I try to write reviews for all books that I read. Out of the 5 books I read, I’ve only written one review. This month, I didn’t feel like writing any reviews. I just wasn’t in the mood. But I’ll but my star rating next to each book.
From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout – check out my review
Queen Move by Kennedy Ryan – 5/5
To Be Your Last by Rae Kennedy – 3.5/5
Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan – 5/5
Sex and Vanity by Kevin Kwan – 3/5
Next Month’s Reads:
I’m currently reading the last book in the Stalking Jack the Ripper series, Capturing the Devil. I’ve enjoyed this series so much and I’m excited to see how Audrey Roses and Thomas’s story ends. I’m thinking of reading two ARCs the I received via Netgalley and who knows what else July will hold!
Reading Goal Update:
I’m currently at 16 our of 24 books! At this rate, I’ll definitely surpass my annual goal!
